What is a ReTop?
A ReTop is your reinterpretation of a moment. Pause any video on the exact frame that speaks to you and turn it into your own creation — a clip, a cover, or a visual comment with your caption and perspective. It's not just a repost; it's your take.
How do I create a ReTop?
Open a video, pause it on the moment you want, and tap the ReTop option. Choose a clip, frame, or cover, personalize it with text and a background, and share it with your followers.
How do I make my account private?
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security and enable a private account. You can then approve or decline incoming follow requests, and control who sees your followers, likes, and saved content.
How do I report or block someone?
Use the report and block tools available on any post, ReTop, comment, or profile. Reported content is reviewed to help keep the community safe. Posts can also carry spoiler and AI-generated labels.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Account and choose the account deletion option, or email us at support@thetopview.app and we'll process your request. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, and ReTops.
Which languages and platforms are supported?
theTopView is available in 14 languages with Light and Dark mode. It also includes Screen Time tools to help keep your usage balanced.
