Playlists, saving and history
The three different ways to keep something on theTopView, and which one you actually want.

Three things that all look like keeping
Saving, playlists and history overlap enough to be confusing, and they answer genuinely different questions.
- Saving is private and for you. A saved post goes into a collection only you can open, unless you have chosen to make your saved posts visible.
- A playlist is public and for other people. It is a sequence someone else can play through, and it has a cover and a name because it is a thing you are publishing.
- History is automatic. It is what you watched, kept so you can find the video you cannot name.
Collections
Saved posts can be grouped into named collections rather than piling into one list. This is worth doing early: a collection is easy to make at ten saved posts and tedious at four hundred.
Pins and highlights
A pin puts one of your own posts at the top of your profile, where it stays regardless of how recent it is. A highlight does the same job for a reTop. Both are about what someone arriving at your profile should see first, which is rarely the same as the most recent thing you made.
