Posting: covers, tags and flags
What each field on the post screen does, which ones affect who sees the post, and the flags you are expected to set honestly.

The cover
Every post has a cover, and it is the single thing that decides whether anyone stops on it. You can take it from any frame of the video or upload a separate image. Covers are resized on upload so that a large photo does not cost a viewer on a slow connection several seconds of blank card.
Two kinds of tag
Name tags are people: an @mention attached to the post itself rather than buried in the description. Tagged accounts are notified and the tag is visible from the post.
Video tags are subjects, and they are what recommendations read. The app suggests some by looking at the video itself, which you are free to delete — a suggestion is a starting point and a wrong tag is worse than no tag.
The three flags
- 18+ — the post is hidden from accounts whose date of birth puts them under it, and carries a cover that must be tapped through.
- Spoiler — the cover is obscured until tapped. Nothing is restricted; it is a courtesy.
- AI-generated — the post is marked as made with generative tools.
The first genuinely restricts who can see the post. The other two change how it is presented. All three are yours to set, and the moderation queue exists for the cases where they were not set honestly.
Drafts
A post you do not finish is kept as a draft, with the video and everything you had filled in. Drafts live on the device that made them.
